St. Jude Dream Home

Every year, even before I moved here, I have bought a ticket to try to win the St. Jude Dream Home. I never visited the home before the drawing, but today I did just that. It's a lovely home worth well over $300 grand and comes completely furnished. I am perfectly happy in my little patio home and am happy to donate to St. Jude because it is just an awesome charity. If I did win, I probably couldn't pay the taxes on the house or pay the electricity bill! I sure could sell that baby though....and, believe me, I would!!!!

One of our teachers won it one year! She sold it and she sold most of the furnishings out of it; some of 'em she liked, though, and kept!

Even the runner-up prizes are pretty swell.

We're going to be in your neck of the woods tomorrow; come eat at Nicky's with us! :) Then we're going to Second Hand Rose.
