On this date 65 years ago Vernita Irene Stewart,16, and Samuel Lloyd Beatty,19, eloped. Tonight we had a little party for them to celebrate the event.

This is my brother and sister-in-law's lake house where we held the party. We will have a big honkin' party on their 70th anniversary!!!!
